Entrepreneurs Versus Leaders
What does it mean to be an entrepreneur and what does it mean to be a leader? In this episode we will discuss their differences and why you need to develop both entrepreneurship
and leadership for success in your business.
The four differences between entrepreneurs and leaders:
- Entrepreneurs grow ideas, leaders grow people
- Entrepreneurs drive toward the objective, leaders take people along with them
- Entrepreneurs micromanage, leaders delegate
- Entrepreneurs command, leaders coach
It is possible to be an entrepreneur without strong leadership competency, however, an entrepreneur’s success will be limited if they aren’t willing to embrace these leadership skills.
